This strip was originally done around the time of the theatrical release of "Despicable Me"
There was a lot of promotional stuff done with the minion characters, and again recently with the dvd release, hopefully it will die down soon. If there are sequels or a tv show or the movie just refuses to go away I might rename the strip to the adventures of Des P Keeble or something. Desmond isn't not family friendly, he's not friendly to anyone. I'm not going to put this strip in the upcoming "Despicable Collection Vol.1" because I'm hoping that by avoiding fleeting pop culture references it might be funny for more than a few months.
