More Life Drawings...

I tried using some colour with watercolour pencils, a water brush pen and a waterbrush pen with ink in it.
I also did a B&W one with a fine point fibre tip pen.

I've been using the ink/water brush to do the strips for a few weeks now. It's my new best friend, we will probably have to go our separate ways one day, but for the moment I'm enjoying inking without the careful setting up and cleaning involved in inking with a brush.

Corpse Rodeo

This is an imaginary album cover for a virtually imaginary Metal band - Corpse Rodeo.

"Corpse Rodeo" doesn't have anything to do with Zombie Love or any other illegal forms of coitus, it's really from a incident that occurred on a cattle station near the border of Queensland and New South Wales.

From the "Verified Australian History website"-

"-originally based on the incident at Woolcock Cattle
Station in 1879 when a group of bushrangers known as the woodsmen burned the
station to the ground and tied the dead bodies of the patriach and his three sons to
four unbroken horses that were in the west paddock waiting to be tamed. Setting
the wild horses free as the limp bodies flopped around in a pathetic display the
morbid gang found disgustingly amusing."
